Known Application
AMPPD is a chemiluminescent substrate for alkaline phosphatase. In a suitable buffer, with the catalytic hydrolysis of the enzyme, AMPPD is decomposed into AMP-D, which emits a high-intensity light signal. The speed of light emission depends on Alkaline phosphatase concentration. When the alkaline phosphatase is coupled to the hybridized probe, the presence of the hybrid molecule can be detected by this system.
