Notice: This material is an anthracene series photosensitizer, belonging to the class, photoinitiator. It is sensitive to light and must be kept away from light strictly. Any even short exposure to light may cause damage to its quality. Please be sure that it would not be opened unless in lab with fully avoiding light conditions.

Application

Brief Introduction
1. Permits utilization of long-wavelength light energy beyond the effective absorption
range of the initiator.
2. Sensitizing effect independent of the initiator.
3. Reduces the amount of the initiator.
4. Permits thick-film polymerization.
5. Can comply with regulations of many of countries
9,10-dibutoxyanthracene is a photosensitizer for UV cationic polymerization. It has a unique absorption zone of long UV wavelengths over 400 nm. It provides effective energy transfer to the photopolymerization initiator, leading to accelerated polymerization and improved surface properties and adhesiveness of the cured product. Making long-wavelength UV radiation available for photopolymerization, the photosensitizer now permits thick-film cationic polymerization which in conventional systems would end up in insufficient curing.
